Focus
The Journal of Sustainable Fisheries Studies focuses on publishing scientific research articles, conceptual studies, and literature reviews related to the management and development of the fisheries and marine sector in a sustainable manner. The journal aims to serve as a platform for disseminating knowledge that supports the application of sustainability principles (ecological, economic, and social) in the utilization of fisheries resources in marine, coastal, and inland waters.
Published articles are expected to provide scientific and practical contributions for policymakers, academics, researchers, fisheries practitioners, and other stakeholders in efforts to achieve sustainable fisheries.
Scope
The scope of the Journal of Sustainable Fisheries Studies includes, but is not limited to, the following topics:
- Sustainable fisheries resource management (capture fisheries and inland fisheries)
- Sustainable and environmentally friendly aquaculture
- Fisheries and marine economics, including blue economy and bioeconomy
- Socio-cultural and institutional aspects of fisheries development

The Journal of Sustainable Fisheries Studies accepts the following types of manuscripts:
